George Pitchford has been married for 30 years to Dr. Sandra Morales, a elementary school principle, three children, Christopher, Alexandria, Brendon. Born in Washington D.C. raised in McAllen, Texas graduated from McAllen High School (McHi) in 1976, Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980 with a degree in Government. Owned my own business for 8 years before entering law school in 1985 Attended law school at Reynaldo G. Garza, a private law school in Edinburg Texas and graduated in December 1988, took the Texas State Bar exam in Feb 1989 and started my own practicing in May of 1989.

He started out practicing general law concentrating on criminal, personal injury and administrative law, became a City Attorney for Alton, Texas in 1991 for four years then became Alton’s municipal judge in 1996 for 6 years. Became involved more with disability law around 1998 doing some social security disability work as well as handling private insurance disability. In 2007, Mr. Pitchford formed Pitchford & Guerra, P .C. which dealt exclusively with social security disability work. The practice was very successful and our clientele grew substantially. He is now partnering with Timm Davis to form Pitchford/Davis, LLP, A Social Security Disability Law Firm.
